Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Memo, the WhatsApp assistant available at gomemo.chat ("Service"). By using Memo you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Memo is a WhatsApp-based personal assistant that helps you set reminders, manage Google Calendar events, keep lists, transcribe voice messages, and answer general questions. The Service is provided "as is".

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Memo. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Account & Conduct

• You are responsible for the WhatsApp number you use to access Memo.
• Do not use Memo for illegal activity, harassment, spam, or to send harmful content.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or overload the Service.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Memo offers a free tier with limited usage and a Premium subscription billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• Premium pricing: ₪19 / month or ₪228 / year (subject to change with notice).
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us.
• Refund policy: see Refund Policy (or contact us within 14 days of payment).

5. Google Calendar Integration

If you connect Google Calendar, you grant Memo permission to read and modify your calendar only as needed to provide features you request (viewing events, adding events, editing/deleting events you specify). You can revoke access at any time from your Google account.

6. AI-Generated Replies

Memo uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate replies. AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or unexpected output. Always verify important information (medical, legal, financial). Memo is not a substitute for professional advice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content and software, is owned by Memo and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit, but grant us a licence to process it as needed to provide the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using Memo at any time by blocking the WhatsApp number or emailing us to delete your account.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memo is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, missed reminders, calendar errors, or AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv.
